Teaching Philosophy

My goal as an educator is to help students become thoughtful consumers of behavioral science by actively engaging with psychological and organizational questions, critically evaluating behavioral evidence, and connecting scientific theory to their own experiences and the world around them.

I believe students learn best when they are active participants in the learning process and when their identities, perspectives, and lived experiences are recognized as valuable sources of knowledge. This approach has allowed me to teach across a range of subjects, students, and diverse institutional contexts, including public CUNY campuses and Princeton University.
